A Technical Trip to AGT Company was Conducted with the Participation of TBMYO Students

Students and Faculty Members of the Vocational School of Technical Sciences organized a technical trip to AGT (Wood Developing Technology) company operating in Antalya Organized Industrial Zone. Lecturer Tuncer DALGAR and Lecturer Gökhan TURAN coordinated the technical trip, which was attended by students from the Interior Design Program and Computer Programming Program, along with Lecturer Şevket BAŞ. Students of the Vocational School of Technical Sciences visited the glue production line, MDF production section, panel line, parquet line, and impregnation and melamine press section within the AGT company, which has been operating in Antalya since 1984 as one of the world's leading companies in the furniture components sector and ranks 104th in Turkey's 500 Largest Industrial Enterprises list. After the field visit, briefings were given in line with the mutual protocol between our University and the AGT company. Within the scope of the 3+1 Education Model Vocational Training course

After the field visit, briefings were given in line with the mutual protocol between our University and AGT company. Within the scope of the 3+1 Education Model Vocational Training course in the Enterprise, information was obtained about the factory's working system, internship, and job opportunities.

The students who participated in the technical trip had the opportunity to see the subjects they theoretically learned at school applied in the field before going to Vocational Training in the Enterprise.
